Gameplay
As with other games in Legend of Heroes this is a TRPG.
As i didn't play a lot in previous games i cannot compare and tell you how well system did evolve.
Still the gameplay part is quite nicely done.
In addition to magic(arts) there is also special skills that require CP.
Since a lot of these skills are AOE mages are not only one who can do a lot of damage (frankly magic is not so strong at all).
I played on normal and didn't notice significant difficulties spikes(except for end-bosses).
As long as you're not too low on level and items you can carry all dungeons.
Most characters are already close to some specific types but all are capable of magic so it is not difficult to make party capable of dealing with any kind of monsters.
Though i would advise to be careful with bosses as they tend to have a lot of HPs and difficult to de-buff.
Really annoying thing is that debuffs works only 1 turn on bosses. And that makes debuffs pretty useless against bosses.(not completely though)
Characters have following options for customization:
- Equip:
- weapon;
- armour;
- shoes;
- 2 amulets;
- costumes.
- Main Quarts:
- Can be leveled up.
- Has special abilities and magic.
- Also they usually lean to some class archetype.
- Common quarts can be set in limited amount. Can have stat or passive bonuses and also grants some skills
