Prologue

Lone and cold wake up

Game starts exactly from where the first one has finished: our hero, Rean, got beaten up badly by Crow and escaped with a help of his comrades.

He wakes up alone in some mountains. There are only his mech, Valimar, and talking cat, Celine. Rean remembers that he got beaten up and escaped, thanks to Celine's forceful "suggestion". Without a further delay he rushes to look for his friends. After all you would kinda feel bad escaping on your own, even if you has been forced, right?

On his way though Rean makes his best to ignore any attempt of Celine to explain situation... He got no time after all and maybe he's a bit annoyed with the fact that she forced him to leave his friends alone to fight.

Though our hero cannot ignore the fact that he feels a bit not in form. Luckily we got the whole mountains with monsters so there is a plenty of training grounds to polish his skills.

It turns out though that these mountains are a bit familiar to our hero. Not only it is close to his hometown Ymir but this is also the place where he was training in past. Knowing he wastes no time to enjoy nature and continues on his way down. Little by little though his anger diminish and he stops ignoring Celine. She also surprised him by the fact that it has been already a month since his escape. And not only that: Rean has been badly injured due to unexpected long fight using his mech. Thanks to Valimar he was able to recovery more or less during his month sleep.

This news of the whole missed month only steeled his resolve to find out what is going on in the world. But then a sudden surprise meets him in form of a ancient magic golem that can literally smash him.

Even though he's pretty tired by now, Rean is not going back up as he got lots things to do. Still... it is not difficult to guess what would be outcome of this battle. Our hero could almost die if Celine wouldn't cover him with magic shield. Luckily though it turns out there is help on its way to save a day!

You can stumble upon member of Bracer guild in a different places but you wouldn't expect such luck in a cold mountains. And yet here is Toval to save our hero from this dire battle with golem. He quickly cast a spell that throws giant from mountains all the way down. Luckily Toval made it in time to avoid any serious injuries for both Rean and Celine.

Unexpected help wasn't the only surprise though. Turns out here are also Rean's imouto Elise and princess Alfin. Not exactly a place you would find two lovely ladies...

Still our hero doesn't have much time to ponder about it and soon loses his conciseness.

Home, sweet home

Rean wakes up in his home a few days after the whole ordeal with golem. And surprisingly more composed now...

Then you'll get caught up with events of previous month alongside with our hero. It seems nobles that captured capital of Empire call themselves Noble Allience Although imperial army has been the major part of Erebonian Empire military they have been pushed to corners. Turns out nobles flipped table quite easily with the help of newly developed mechas. Even if it seems a bit unrealistic i suppose we can go with that. Eventually though you'll find out a bit more insights into why nobles could so quickly gain control.

For now you can enjoy Rean's hometown Ymir

You visit different people in town and can just take it easy for now. And at the end Rean got to enjoy hot springs (outdoor baths). Well, not alone: your kawaii imouto Elise will not leave you alone. After all she missed Rean for so long... You cannot deny her such opportunity.

Still a peace isn't going to last long. On next morning you'll find out that the golem is going for Ymir and specifically for Rean. Because of being choosen as Valimar's pilot Rean is going to be quite popular now. So don't be surprised... even if it is gigantic magic golem.

Rean gets a party of Toval and Elise for his hunt. Yep, you heard it right: Elise, despite brother protests, joins you too. She isn't just a delicate lady, she can quite easily fight on her own. And in addition to that she got good heal. Toval on other hand is the quickest caster in the game. Beginning can be a bit challenging but nothing outstanding. Besides you fight alongside kawaii imouto... You cannot just let your party die.

Soon you'll face golem again. This time you're ready though.

Fight might be a bit challenging as golem can heal\buff itself, but nothing impossible of course. This fights brings the end of prologue.

But, nothing is simple for Rean. Soon after defeating golem it turns out that his hometown has been attacked. Together with party Rean rushes back to find out what's going on.

Rean's father is already facing jaeger crops (hired mercenaries). Mercenaries usually do not have much of honor and so when they cannot beat someone... They'll use a hostage and this way by the time Rean can do anything his father got sliced up badly.

Now that can get anyone angry... and when Rean gets angry someone is gonna get hurt pretty badly. You'll see Rean super power manifestation first time during this game so soon. Still as in the first game, our hero cannot control himself very well...

Luckily for jaegers Elise is able to calm down her brother. Though i wouldn't deny that I'd prefer to make a blood bath of these jaegers.

And yet this does not conclude prologue.

Suddenly imouto and princess Alfin are captured by unknown loli. Definitely you cannot deny yourself a pleasure to admire a cute loli in black. But not at the time when Rean's imouto and princess are getting kidnapped.

Sadly there is nothing Rean can do against loli that can fly on her robot.
