Act 2

Wild green land

Your next stop is Nord. Gaius's homeland.

For these of you who don't remember it is just one big piece of green land. One would expect it to be peaceful, but you can never know for sure...

Again you're lucky to warp there pretty quick thanks to our super mecha Valimar

You'd definitely look around, but our next stop is Zendar Gate. This is again one massive piece of metal construction... One might wonder if Empire's engineers is trying to compensate something.

But i forgot to tell you great news. Claire cannot walk around her cool uniform, so she made a bit of change. It is not so cool as her uniform, but definitely suits her.

There Fie would definitely troll me as being some horny boy. But oh well, you cannot deny a man's right to admire beautiful lady, right?

Moving to your job: it's a bit long way. Our party braces themselves and went on their way. Soon enough though Rean finds out that war touched this land as the rest of Empire.

Nothing unexpected, but well. It is kinda sad i suppose? After all it is cool and far away from civilization land.

At least imperial army shows some signs of superiority in tactics and fend off enemy Soldats (Noble Allience mechas).

We're a bit limited in where we can walk around this vast Highlands so let's hurry up to our destination.

And we're finally here! With such warm welcome from army, nonetheless. Luckily someone still remembers Rean so you ain't gonna get shot by the good guys. You got a lot to catch up here.

It seems imperial army got themselves surrounded by Noble Alliance forces. And they are getting pushed more and more with each attack.

Turns out cuz Noble Alliance was able to capture watchtower in Highlands. So imperial army is getting attacks from two sides right now.

Sounds bad? But well, you ain't here for them anyway... First things first: we got to find our buddies.

Our next stop is Nord Settlement. Besides Elliot and Fie are eager to see Gaius home. Let's roll as Fie loves to say.

Now i suppose it should be expected, but there is no one here. Kinda lame to walk all the way for nothing, right? But no worries! You got an ambush waiting for you.

Bunch of jaeger got you here. They are not exactly pushovers either so we gotta be careful here.

But remember: you should never relax yourself when you beat enemy first time. In Japan first round is just warm-up and here your enemies are up again. With much of trained monsters to tear you apart...

Unless of course Gaius is going to save the day and that he has done...

He rushes is in and push them like a children. It is not enough, but at least your party didn't got ganged.

And luckily jaegers got call that they should wrap patrol up already. So they just leave you: no one paid for overwork after all. You gotta love human greed :)

Again we got a bit of catch up. And Gaius told us that he's here with Alisa and Millium. You can notice that Claire is relieved to find her almost little sister so soon. JFYI it is Millium.

Ok, now our destination is Lake Lacrima further north in Highlands. Luckily Gaius will guide you there.

But it turns out that Alisa and Millium went somewhere east to investigate what's going on with mysterious radio jammer. I did forgot to mention but it seems that Noble Alliance have means to block radio transmissions of imperial army. And they have means to avoid blocking their own. That is one of the reasons why imperial army is getting pushed around. Communication is a key in warfare.

You gotta get to north east region of highlands. And there are still limits of how far you can travel so just go straight ahead. Gaius is also here to point you a direction.

You got to see a place you missed in the first game. There you can also find good view on one of the Noble Alliance base. We can save our evil plans to purge them out for now. After all buddies come first.

And finally you got to see Alisa and Millium. They got themselves into a fight with cryptid so you gotta help them!

After clearing this boss out we got a touchy reunion here.

I believe everyone would miss this genki loli, right? And Rean gets another loli jump scare. It is tough to be popular... And it is not like i envy him!

Oh well we also got here Gwyn. Alisa's grandfather. I didn't notice him with all these touchy reunions... He didn't mind though.

Ok, it is time to return back to Lake Lacrima. We need to decide what to do next, after all.

Green peace strikes again

Nord people are eager to move away from all this war. It pains them but there is nothing to do... right? Or are they wrong?

Rean thinks they are wrong. We just need to beat a shit out of Noble Alliance forces at watchtower. And also stop radio jammer. Sounds simple?

It is actually just that simple when you know a way to infiltrate watchtower without anyone noticing you. They got guards at the entrance to the way leading to watchtower. But you remember the way to avoid getting notice around watchtower, right? Last time imperial army got attack from this blind spot that almost lead to war against Calvard Republic

Anyway our plan is set: rush in, clear out enemies and disable jammer. You also got an opportunity to explore Nord Highlands which i advise you to do.

Moving to our main story. After you'll infiltrate watchtower you got intense fights on your way. You even got to fight several times jaeger corps. This time they got paid for getting rid of you, so be careful. And at the top a familiar faces awaits you... As a boss and not only. I'm not going to spoil you this moment, but you gotta enjoy it.

Next as you can guess we gotta mecha fight.

It is not such intense fight thanks to your secondary pilot. But it is going to drag a lot: we got 3 enemy mechas with air support. That might sound and look scary, but it is nothing impossible with a second pilot.

After that you got a long scene of departing. I'm actually a bit tired after all this intense fighting so let's just get over it!

Everyone needs to enjoy their youth

Once you'll back you got another day off. Nothing new: walk around Ymir, play with your buddies and hone your snowboarding skills.

And don't forget we got a new loli Millium here! I advise to spend time with her. You gotta race against her on a super robot.

Anyway i advise to get a good rest afterwards. Tomorrow we got another job!
