Intermission

The chapter is going to be short break from a typical story flow.

Rean is a lone guest on the enemy flagship.

We got to meet face to face the supreme leader.

He doesn't strike as great at all. One would say that is your typical noble. Yet as they say do not judge book by its cover.

Duke Cayenne explains situation quite simply: Both Imperial Army and Noble Alliance ain't going to back down until someone wins. And as long as they fight people are going to suffer.

What to do? Someone needs to win quickly and Noble Alliance can have even greater chances for a swift victory with Rean and his mecha. One would be surprised after such rude invitation, but here are your nobles. Thinking on the whole different level...

Surprisingly though you're promised safety regardless of choice. Not only by Duke, but Rufus which is trustworthy. Even though Rufus is enemy now, previously he has been quite cool.

Seems like not really too bad? Still Rean cannot rush such decision so he got to think hard.

But oh well... too much thinking sometimes might be counter-productive. After Rean is taken to his room, he got finally meet Crow face-to-face.

Crow decided to lend a bit of help with thinking and brings in some nice stuff.

Now here you got to hear some long monologue about his past and etc. Yawn... He got usual sad past: his grand-father dies because of Osborne policies and people of his town gladly accepted being ruled by Empire. Now that's some grudge so no surprise he went so far as to assassinate Osborne. By the way Osborne is boss of Claire so you can guess who got to dislike Crow.

Anyway Crow is now Azure Chevalier of Noble Alliance so until Rean agrees to join force, they got to be enemies. Despite them being good buddies in the first game... It is so difficult to be a japanese school boy.

After long talk you got some time to explore ship and think of escape.

Remember that we're on a military ship? But we're on the ship of Noble Alliance. They go in style.

Rean got to talk with all previously bosses he fought. It is rather long, but not all wasteful. Besides he cannot really escape right now through all these bosses.

OK, let's be careful here... Otherwise some might think badly of me.

BUT!

It is a white haired loli in black and she is a kuudere!

Your first reaction should be just this:

Oh yeah it is actually not the first time you'd see her.

She's one of the bosses we got to fight in Nord's Watchtower.

Calm yourself down otherwise she gotta to wake up...

Rean will get a bit of beating but after that he got a bit of time to talk with her. Turns out her name is Altina and she's sorta sister to Millium. Sadly you cannot find much more except for mysterious name of organization that loaned Altina. The name of evil organization is Black Workshop.

Why evil? Cuz only evil mind can loan beautiful loli...

Anyway most of the bosses isn't willing talk much until Rean joins Alliance.

Moving next. Another noteworthy talk is with foster parents of Fie. They are quite easy going but very protective about Fie. Don't raise their Fie danger alarm!

After finishing talks with all bosses you got to remember that Crow mentioned something about guest of honor. Well you might as well to check it out... Surprisingly we got another loli aboard!

There you got some inspiring talk and now your plan is to escape with Alfin. She can even help you to fight with her Arts. And i must say she's pretty strong with magic. But not like you can go on bosses head-on so let's be careful here.

Even with low level she can do LOTS of damage with magic so don't worry. Your path is going to a short one also.

Pretty soon you'll stumble upon pair of bosses.

We're screwed?

Nope, it is JRPG, baby.

Rean actually got super power, remember?

But now he's able to control it perfectly well.

So Rean power-ups and rush in.

Battle is pretty easy when Rean is transformed so don't worry.

It is wrapped pretty quickly so it is time for some actual princess saving!

And with style!

Even with super powers Rean cannot hold against the whole bunch of enemies here.

Besides we got a princess, right?

Time to escape. Our goal is to reach Valimar.

With super powers it is not difficult though, Rean easily avoids any attempts to block him on his way.

And soon enough you'll find yourself on front deck which is our destination.

Sadly it is not that easy cuz we got in our way Crow with McBurn.

Although Rean can beat Crow pretty easily, he's already at his limit.

Battle with Crow exhausted us completely and we got no super powers anymore...

Enemy is upon you and got nowhere to run.

Well, you might think you're screwed but you got cavalry on its way to help!

Even Alfin's brother Olivert came to your rescue... and a bit of trolling.

After all Rean did spend some quality time alone with his little cute sister.

Back to a scene at the hand. You know we kinda stuck here with lots of people. Fight here might take a while with all this bunch of people.

You got here even Laura's father and since she's goddess of STR you can guess how powerful is he.

He can easily fight toe-to-toe with McBurn so we gout ourselves here covered.

Still... you might wonder what we're going to do? There is a lot of fighting to do after all. And i think some might be eager to fight as Laura father...

But nope, Vita, true witch, appears and let you know that you can go.

Just like that. Simple and easy.

One might find it is suspicious but well, why not take her on this offer after all.

And no worries: our party already has own flagship!

It is cool when you have some flashy flying ship.
